Sharing lessons from God's Word.
I am not sure I ever saw myself doing a blog, but I do love sharing what I learn as I study God's Word and this seemed like a great way to do that.
I love word studies. The Loser Bible Study Series is based on the word lose in Mark 8:35. This particular word study has already encouraged me in so many ways. It is my desire that you will be encouraged as well as you seek to lose your life and find it in Christ.

Blessed Are the Peacemakers: Love Like an Ocean
Dan and I at the Isle of Palms a few years ago. Peace like a river requires love like an ocean. Being a peacemaker automatically calls us to love God and to love others. Remember this, loves works no ill to our neighbor. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:10 In Scripture, I am called to love my husband, to love my children and to teach others to do so as well (Titus 2). Throughout the Old and the New Testaments we are

Blessed Are the Peacemakers: Peace Is Not My Jam
Making peace is God's jam! You may be like me and you may say, "Making peace is not my jam!" I get it, believe me, I do. I can relate to that more than you know. When I take a "spiritual personality test" (you have heard of those right?) being a peacemaker is never listed as one of my strengths. Peace is not in my nature or my genes. I am from a family who loves to argue. We love a good debate. We love to be in control. Because of this it was such a struggle for me to unders

Blessed Are the Peacemakers: Introduction
Amy Sapp, Janice Wolfe and Debbie Russ singing Peace Like a River, Joy Like a Fountain at the FAITHful Ladies Daycation 2026. Making peace is not a matter of control - controlling people or even controlling the outcome of a situation. Making peace is not compromise. It does not involve sacrificing principles or deep-rooted convictions based on truth. God's word says "Blessed are the peacemakers." So how can we have the blessing of Biblical peace in our relationships without

The World of Forgiveness VS. A World of Hurt
He healeth the broken in heart The one and ONLY time we see the word Calvary in the scriptures is in Luke 23: “And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.” Luke 23:33 I was captured by the word “Calvary” in my Bible reading recently. I have heard many sermons on Calvary. We have numerous songs on Calvary in our playlist on Faith Music Radio. To be honest, I am
