Dear Friend of Faith Music Radio,

   My hand was violently severed from my arm when I was a child. I nearly died. After five months in the hospital I survived, but my new reality was so different from what it was before. I needed something that only God’s Word could provide. I’ll share the verse that helped me in a moment.

​

    I never fully understood the potential of Christian Radio until I read Isaiah 55:10 and 11, where God likens the word of God to rain. The Word of God, as does rain, always accomplishes its purpose. That got me thinking, Faith Music Radio is much like rain, in that it goes through the air and we don’t control where it lands. We know it lands in all fifty states and over eighty countries. We know it is listened to somewhere every minute of every day. The amazing thing about it is that, since we broadcast God’s Word in song, every time someone turns on the radio, it accomplishes its purpose.

     When God says that His Word will not return to Him void, it is being absorbed into hearts and lives, as the ground soaks up the rain and snow. The truth will not return void, and hearts are changed.

​

     I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of Christian radio than I am today. What a promise we have that when a lonely shut-in turns on the radio and hears an encouraging song, God’s purpose is being accomplished. When that seeker who is looking for answers and turns on the radio in the middle of the night hears the Gospel, God’s purposes is being accomplished.

     Our Spring Shareathon theme this year is AS THE RAIN.

     This is why Faith Music Radio is so important and why you are so important to us and to all the people who tune in. When you give to Faith Music Radio, you are giving to a station that broadcasts the Word of God. It goes out like the rain, which goes everywhere and never returns void. I can’t think of a better investment than that.

     Tucked away in a portion of the Nativity story is where I found my life’s verse. Luke 1:37 gave me the comfort and courage I needed to go out and conquer my world. For with God nothing shall be impossible. I’m anxious to hear what verse has helped you.
